Nigel meadows is a Senior consultant and honorary senior lecturer in paediatric gastroenterology. He has worked at the Royal London for 25 years, which he has been instrumental in developing the center. He is also a senior lecturer in the Institute of Neuro-gastroenterology at Queen Mary Westfield, where he works in combination with his colleagues in adult gastroenterology to gain insight into disorders such as reflux, constipation, and intestinal failure.
His clinical work is based on all general aspects of paediatric gastroenterology, and he heads the TPN nutrition support team at the Harley Street clinic.
He lectures and teaches widely, both nationally and internationally on Intravenous feeding, and children with feeding difficulties.
Nigel sits on several working groups looking at intestinal motility problems. He is a medical advisor for both PORT, and NACC patient support groups.
He is currently part of an international study, with Prof Sifrim looking at aspects of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease in children.
