Dr Kingi Aminu is a Consultant Paediatrician working within the NHS and private sector in London with extensive experience in the treatment of children with a wide variety of medical problems. She is passionately committed to providing excellent and holistic care in partnership with parents and other professionals -always with the child at the centre and their best interests at heart.
Dr Aminu graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine Cardiff with a B Med Sci in Medical Genetics and MB ChB in 1992. She undertook her postgraduate training in a number of university hospitals in South Wales and University Hospitals NHS Trust Leicester with extensive training in general paediatrics, respiratory medicine, diabetes, endocrinology, neonatology, paediatric intensive and high dependency care, paediatric cardiology and paediatric oncology and spent a year as a clinical research fellow at the Institute of Medical Genetics in Leicester.
Dr Aminu obtained her Certificate Of Completion of Specialist Training in General Paediatrics and in 2003 was appointed as a Consultant Paediatrician at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London and works in the department of Paediatric Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology and also is currently the Clinical Director for Children’s services. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) and member of the International Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Diabetes.
