Waseem Saeed has over 20 years of UK plastic surgery experience including 16 years as a Consultant. He specialised in Plastic Surgery in 1992 and joined the UK training programme working in prestigious units in London, Edinburgh and a 1 year Fellowship in the USA. In 1999 he was appointed Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Plastic Surgery at St James’s University Hospital, Leeds which is one of the largest microsurgical units in the world. Following his work in the humanitarian field of earthquake surgery, he was appointed Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Manchester University Medical School. After nearly 10 years there he moved back to his home town – Manchester to work in independent practice and focus on his main areas of interest: Advanced facial rejuvenation, cosmetic surgery and limb reconstruction with a special interest in upper limb cerebral palsy surgery.
His early training in London allowed him to start carrying out cosmetic procedures in 1993 and since then he has expanded and refined his techniques through a busy cosmetic practice as a consultant and through international visits and meetings.
Waseem Saeed carries out a full range of cosmetic surgical procedures but has a special interest in facial rejuvenation combing the latest techniques of surgery, and non-surgical techniques of volume enhancement, and skin cosmoceutical and platelet treatments into comprehensive programmes to combat the effects of ageing. He also specialises in advanced liposculpture using the state-of-the-art “Bodyjet System”, rhinoplasty and cosmetic breast surgery and the correction of problems after cosmetic surgery.
